Golden Matrix has completed the purchase of RKings Competitors with the final 20% purchase of the tournament platform. This means the Las Vegas-based developer now owns 100% of RKings.
RKings Competitions purchase making great business sense
Golden Matrix acquired 80% of RKings Competition in December 2021. Still optimistic about the purchase, Brian Goodman, Golden Matrix CEO, said;
“Obviously, we are pleased to now have this exciting and successful B2C business as a wholly-owned entity,” He also said, “It is highly scalable and expected to grow quickly in multiple regulated jurisdictions.”
RKings Competition results for 2020 and 2021 are good causes for such an outlook. The platform gave out over $54 million in prizes. Each month, over 25,000 active patrons log in, showing a massive interest in this product.
Big plans for the future
The future looks exciting for the tournament platform. With plans to take it abroad, Goodman is not shy to express his fullest confidence in the success of RKings Competition. Will RKings come to the US? Well, that remains to be seen.
“In addition to Great Britain, we expect RKings’ tournament platform to be popular and well-received by participants in Mexico, where it is already permitted to operate; and we believe it can expand into other Latin American markets over the next couple years,”
