How To Play Jingle Spin
With 20 paylines across five reels, this game features cash wins, wilds, and spreading wilds.
The Jingle Spin RTP of 96.48% is standard for most online slot casino games.
The medium volatility makes wins feel well deserved.
Similar to other NetEnt conveyor-style slots, Jingle Spin has 15 symbols, including the wilds. The high-end icons are very detailed, and their values range from 10 – 1000 per payline.
They’re the red bauble, the orange slice with cinnamon, the green spinning top, the reindeer, and the pinecone.
The low-end symbols are card icons shaped like 10, Ace, Jack, Queen, and King tree ornaments. These range between 5 and 75 per line.
You can see the designers made an effort on the icons, and each has beautiful detailing.
The elves in the work line above the reels drop gifts containing different prizes into the boxes below them. You can get instant cash rewards, free spins, or spreading wilds.
We had a look at the paytable and bet lines, so you know what to expect.
Jingle Spin Min / Max Bets
As with many online slots, the minimum bet is $0.20. A maximum wager of only $200 allows veterans and newbies to enjoy the game.
Jingle Spin RTP, Volatility & Hit Frequency
Since the Jingle Spin RTP is 96.5%, and the volatility is medium, your win streaks won’t be massive. We did a 200-spin test for our Jingle Spin review and didn’t trigger free spins at all.
We also didn’t hit any spreading wilds.
Jingle Spin Jackpot and/or Maximum Win
As it features a reward wheel where the baubles come out, your wins are staggered. The maximum, you could win is x2500 of your original stake through free spins.
That would take a lot of patience and even more luck.
Jingle Spin Features
The festive theme makes for a fantastic Christmas game with features like bauble wilds that are the perfect fit.
Wilds and Other Game Features
The Wheel of Fortune beside the reels was the first thing we noticed when we started playing. It holds baubles of different colors that the elves pass around.
Wilds substitute for the highest combination possible within a payline. Wild wins activate different baubles held by the elves at the top of the reel.
When you get a wild win, the bauble above it drops and activates the bonus.
The spreading wild is a red bauble inscribed with “W.” If it falls into a wild gift box, it becomes a substitute for other symbols. If it spreads across the reels, the win increases.
Jingle Spin Free Spins
Features on top of the reels show you what rewards could drop into boxes.
Free Spin Baubles
A wild symbol under the green bauble will activate between seven and 50 free spins. While they’re active, you get more green baubles, which add spins when collected.
The wheel will always have baubles throughout this feature, so your helpers receive one on every spin. Any wild that lands will guarantee a win of some kind. As soon as you gather a bauble, the empty spot where the bauble was moved towards the tree until it disappears.
Coin Win Baubles
The coin win bauble drops up to 2500 coins if it activates. If you get a wild win below this bauble, it will drop and give you an instant reward.
The surprise baubles are our favorite. Since you never know what to expect, it’s very exciting. Rewards can be anything from free spins, wilds, or “super mega” cash wins!
Graphics & Sound
We can see that the artists took great care when designing Jingle Spin. The game is 2D, hand-drawn, and frankly, very artistic. As it’s hand-drawn, the graphics will hold up for years to come.
If you imagined Santas’ workshop, this is probably as close as you could get. The music is cheery without being overwhelming. We felt that the sound of the reels could become a bit repetitive after a while.
Fortunately, you can turn off sound. If only they had the option to keep the music but remove the reel sounds.
We were a bit worried that the baubles feature would cause issues on mobile. However, as can be expected from NetEnt, it beautifully adapted the game for all platforms.
The video changes to fit your screen size without losing any quality and the audio stays top-notch.
Other Slots to Play If You Like Jingle Spin
Jingle Spin is unique as it has the conveyor belt of elves. However, it shares features with other NetEnt games, which makes it easy for anyone to pick up and enjoy.
It reminds us of the Christmassy feel of Taco Brothers Saving Christmas by Elk Studios mixed with the conveyor set-up of Netent’s EggOMatic. If you like steampunk or Christmas themes, you might enjoy those games too.
Jingle Spin Review – Conclusion
Jingle Spin steers clear of the typical holiday-theme cliches. There are just the right amounts of whimsy and rewards to keep you entertained.
For those who enjoy pretty graphics and lively background music while playing, this game is perfect.
There’s enough action spread evenly throughout the game to keep players engaged and, while small, wins are frequent.
