NetEnt has struck a deal with Tipico, one of the biggest operators in Germany getting ready to launch an online casino in New Jersey by the end of the year (2020). This is a great step for the German operator, as NetEnt has already been working with multiple online casinos in both NJ and PA.

Tipico US Managing Director, Adrian Vella, said, “We are excited to begin our partnership with NetEnt as we kick-off our expansion into the USA. With a proven track record in the regulated New Jersey market and their well-known catalog of branded games, we're confident that our customers will love NetEnt's offering.”

NetEnt is also very excited about the new partnership, with Vice President Commerical of NetEnt Americas LLC, Brian Kent, adding, “We are happy that Tipico has chosen NetEnt to be one of their first content providers as they begin their US journey. I’m looking forward to having our games in front of players and working with Tipico to grow their business in the US."

In recent years, the United States has become much more lenient with online gambling, and have seen a few states legalize and start to operate online casinos.

New Jersey and Pennsylvania have been the fastest to grow, attracting a number of operators from Europe looking to move into the US market. Michigan and West Virginia appear to be next on the radar.

Therese Hillman, Group CEO of NetEnt said, "We now see a greater likelihood that more US states will introduce online casino legislation in the coming years. Importantly, we expect to launch our games in both Michigan and West Virginia as the online casino markets in those states are expected to open in the second half of this year, which is earlier than previously expected."

Tipico will be able to offer NJ players NetEnt games on the first day of launch, as well as utilizing popular NetEnt advertising tools, like Free Spins, to attract even more customers. The online casino is expected to launch in New Jersey sometime this Fall.

What is Tipico?

Tipico is a German operator, currently headquartered in Malta, Europe, and offers an online sports betting and casino platform. The company stretches across the world, with offices in Germany, Croatia, Austria, Colombia, Malta, and Gibraltar. Recently, Tipico has expressed an interest in expanding the company further in the United States.

New Jersey currently offers the largest online gambling market in the country, with over 20 operators already active in the state. Pennsylvania isn't far behind and could be the next state Tipico decides to launch in.

The German iGaming company first started almost 20 years ago with a team of three people at a small betting shop. Since then, Tipico has become the leading sports betting provider in Germany and employs more than 6,000 people across the world.
